"Gigue des artisans" is Isidore Soucy's slightly 'crooked' interpretation of the venerable "<incipit title="load:walker" width=850 link="https://tunearch.org/wiki/Walker Street">Walker Street</incipit>", "Laborer's Reel (1)" and "Traveller's Reel." The title usually has to do with itinerant laborers, however, Soucy elevates them to the status of craftsmen in his title, perhaps associating 'travelers' with tinkers.
