QUADRILLE CANADIEN -- 3ÈME PARTIE. French-Canadian, Quadrille (cut and 3/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The second strain is almost entirely in triple time (3/4). Soucy researcher Jean Duval notes that the second strain of "Quadrille canadien -- 3ème partie" is nearly identical to the first strain of fiddler J.-A. Boucher's "Clochettes (Les)," recorded in 1933 (see also Luc Michaud's "Quadrille de Rimouski 3ème partie)^[1].
