SILVER NAIL. American, Reel (cut time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Silver Nail" is from the fiddling of Robert William "Bob" Larkan [1] (1867-1942, whose name sometimes is given as 'Larkin'), who recorded the tune with a family band in Memphis, Tenn., in Nov., 1928.
