The tune is a version of the Irish jig "<incipit title="load:banbridge" width=850 link="https://tunearch.org/wiki/Girls of Banbridge (The)">Girls of Banbridge (The)</incipit>" with parts reversed. Allard re-recorded it in 1936 and it was issued under the title "Reel des paroissiens"^[1].
