HIGHWAY TO DUBLIN [2]. Scottish (?), Jig (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A 6/8 jig, perhaps with an Irish provenance, given the reference to that country's capital city in John Gow's title "Highway to Dublin". Fr. John Quinn finds cognate melodies in "Bottle of Claret (The)," and "Bobbing for Eels."
