TINKER'S APRON, THE (Aprún an Tincéara). AKA and see “Monaghan Twig (1).” Irish, Reel. A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune, which is usually known as "Monaghan Twig (1)," is a distanced variant of the Scottish strathspey "Alistair MacAllistair" (Alasdair MacAlasdair).
