QUADRILLE DES LAURENTIDES 4ÈME PARTIE. AKA and see "Canadian Quickstep No. 2," "Reel Charlotte." French-Canadian, Quadrille or Reel (cut or 2/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Isidore Soucy recorded this tune several times after this first recording in 1930, in different iterations (sometimes as parts of longer tunes) and titles: "Quadrille du magician" (1936), "Reel Valcartier" (1942), and "Reel des sucres" (1948).

Printed sources : - A.J. Boucher (Le Répertoire du Violoneux), 1933; No. 50 (appears as "Reel Charlotte"). Jean Duval (La Musique de Isidore Soucy 1899-1962), 2017; No. 145, p. 75. Montreal fiddler and music shop keeper A.J. Boucher published the tune in 1933 in his tune book Le Répertoire du Violoneux as "Reel Charlotte" (No. 50).
