Bisbee's (New Sumner, Me.) 1904 music copybook collection was copied from the 1864 manuscript of fiddler, Frank Richardson, a musician born in Mercer, Somerset, Maine who resided at Canton, Oxford, Maine. Richardson married Mary P. Neal, a teacher born in Mt. Vernon, Kennebec, Maine.
