HOGS IN THE TATER PATCH. Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, Arkansas. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Hog in the Corn Patch" is a similar title, and was mentioned as being played in a 1931 account of a LaFollette, N.E. Tenn., fiddlers' contest.

Source for notated version: Collector R.P. Christeson heard the tune played at a folk festival in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and noted it down from memory, October, 1972.
