Composed by Edinburgh bandleader, fiddle-composer, and music publisher biography:Nathaniel Gow [1] (1763-1831). Orchill House, Ardoch, Perthshire, was a mansion in the Scottish baronial style. The lairds of Orchill were originally a branch of the Graham family.
