Source for notated version: a 1928 recording by P.J. Conlon (d. 1954), originally from County Galway, on the one-row melodeon, via the group Shaskeen (Ireland) [Taylor]; accordion player John Brophy/Sean O Broithe (Ireland) [Breathnach]; New Jersey flute player Mike Rafferty, born in Ballinakill, Co. Galway, in 1926 [Harker].
