D Dorian. Standard tuning. No apparent relation to "Banish Misfortune [1]." See also Breathnach's CRÉ I, No. 29, "The South West Wind." Petrie also published a version of the tune under the title "Bacach na Cleithe" in his Ancient Music of Ireland (Dublin, 1882).
