Tune properties and standard notation
CAVAN REEL, THE (Ríl an Chabháin). Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Recorded by the Flanagan Brothers. O'Neill prints a version as "Green Jacket (The)." Breathnach (1976) remarks the tune is related to his "College Groves" (CRÉ II, No. 265).
