Annotation:Andy Dejarlis

A popular tune for those rare times that an E Major set is called for. Attributed to Manitoba fiddler Andy Dejarlis, the tune has gained international currency through the playing of Cape Breton musicians. Irish musician Karen Tweed calls the tune "Tom Trainor's" after the individual she learned it from.

Source for notated version: Northside fiddler Mike McDougall (1928-1982, Ingonish, Cape Breton) via fiddler Jerry Holland (Inverness, Cape Breton); the tune was untitled until fiddler Johnny Wilmot remembered that the tune had been played by Manitoba fiddler and composer Andy De Jarlis (see "Whiskey Before Breakfast").
