CHAÎNE DU REEL, LA. AKA - "La Chaîne de Reel." French-Canadian, Jig. G Major ('A' part) & D Major ('B' part) {Carlin}: C Major ('A' part) & G Major ('B' part) {Songer}. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Chaîne du reel, or chaîne canadienne, is a dance figure. It is also the first of six parts of "Ti-Jules Quadrille", in the repertoire of Jules Verret, a typical quadrille of the Lac St-Charles region, Québec. favorites .
