Tune properties and standard notation
DICK'S HANDSPIKE. Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, southwestern Pa. G Major (E Minor). Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. An irregular, or 'crooked', tune with extra beats in some measures where the source rested on some notes longer than might have been usual.
Source for notated version: Issac Newton Morris (southwestern Pa.) [Bayard]. Fiddler Morris was a middle-aged man from Greene County, when Bayard collected this tune in the 1930's.
