Tune properties and standard notation
DINNY MESCAL'S SLIDE (Sleamhnán Dhinní Uí Mheiscill). AKA and see "Micko Doyle's Jig," "Patsy Mack." Irish, Slide (12/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. Tune also entered as "Denny Mescall's." See also the closely related "Old Favourite." The "Paddy Mack" title is from Breathnach's Folk Music and Dances of Ireland while Treoir II (p. 11) has printed it under the title "Micko Doyle's Jig."
