Tune properties and standard notation
FREE TRADE [1], THE. English, Hornpipe. England, Northumberland. Composed by Tyneside fiddler and composer James Hill. The melody may have been named for a pub (as were a few of Hill's other compositions). Another theory is that it was named for a topical economic issue.
