Tune properties and standard notation
FRENCH KING'S MINUET. American? English?; Minuet. The tune was mechanically preserved in a chime clock manufactured by Daniel Burnap of East Windor, Connecticut, in the late 18th century. It also appears in Timothy Swan's Suffield, Connecticut, MS of 1777, held by the American Antiquarian Society.
