Tune properties and standard notation
GARDNER'S FAVORITE. AKA and see "Ladies' Pantalettes (The)." Irish, Reel. The tune was recorded in New York under the title "Gardner's Favorite" by the flute and fiddle duet of John McKenna and James Morrison in 1928. Philippe Varlet suggests the title refers to Irish musician John J. Gardiner.
