GEARÓID'S CONCERTINA REEL. Canadian, Reel. Canada, Cape Breton. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Composed by fiddler Brenda Stubbert (b. 1959, Point Aconi, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia) in honor of concertina player and historian Gearóid Ó hAllmhuráin (County Clare, Ireland) who taught Celtic studies at a university in Antigonish, Nova Scotia and "frequented Cape Breton a couple of years ago" [Cranford].
