BISBEE'S WALTZ. Old-Time, Waltz. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABBCC. Jasper "Jep" Bisbee was a fiddler from Paris, Michigan, with New England roots. He was in his 80's when discovered by Henry Ford while playing at a Michigan dance in 1923. The tune's 'B' part recalls "Copenhagen Waltz" in Mr. & Mrs. Henry Ford's "Good Morning" collection, says Bronner (1987).
