Tune properties and standard notation

HARRISON CITY. AKA and see "Bunker Hill (1)," "'A' Drag," "Huntsman's Chorus." American, March (2/4 time). USA, southwestern Pa. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune is a folk processing of "The Huntsman's Chorus" which opens the third act of von Weber's opera Der Freishutz (1821). Bayard (1981) says it was a staple of Pennsylvania martial bands. Under the title "Huntsman's Chorus" it attained popularity and appears in several British Isles collections for the fiddle.
