IN DISPRAISE OF WHISKY (Di-moladh an Uisge-bheatha). Scottish, Slow Air (9/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. "This is another air of (Alexander MacDonnell), to which he forms a dialogue betwixt the enemy and friend of whisky. The friend, in his praises, makes a quick rhapsody of this beautiful air, while the enemy's plaintive reply is all that could be wished" (Fraser).
