Tune properties and standard notation
INISHEER (Inis Oírr). Air or Waltz (3/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). The name 'Inisheer' is the English form of the Gaelic "Inis Oírr," and refers to one of the Aran Islands off the west coast of Galway. This modern air was composed by Dublin accordion player Thomas Walsh [1], who composed it after experiencing
the best holiday of [his] life" on the island.
