Tune properties and standard notation
INCH OF GARTH. AKA and see "Rising of the Sun (The)," "Rising Sun (2)," "Blackthorn Stick (4) (The)," "Clear the Road," "Irishman's Blackthorn Stick (The)," "Jolly Clam-Diggers (The)," "Sean-draighnean (An)." Scottish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. An 'inch' means a level field in Gaelic. Malcolm MacDonald, who composed the tune, paired it on the same page with his "Miss Menzies of Culdar (2)" in his collection.
