JIMMY KING. AKA and see "N....r Jim." Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, southwestern Pa. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The piece sounds like a minstrel tune to Bayard (1981), although he could not find a version in that repertory, and also, very distantly, could be related to some Scottish airs. The title "Jimmy King" may be idiosyncratic to Bayard's source, also named King.
