Tune properties and standard notation
JOHN CONROY'S. AKA and see "Ballinasloe Jig," "Lilting Banshee (The)," "Killaloe Boat," "Ryan's Favourite." Irish, Jig. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The title comes from Galway-born flute player Jack Coen (Bronx, NY), and honors one of his mentors, Johnny Conroy, a flute player from Jack's home town of Woodford, County Galway.
