Tune properties and standard notation
MRS. WALLER. Irish, Planxty. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by blind Irish harper Turlough O'Carolan (1670-1738). O'Sullivan (1958) calls this an "exceptionally tortuous piece." The subject of the piece may be Miss Jane Ormsby, who married Rober Waller of Rockwood, County Roscommon, who became High Sheriff of the country in 1747. See also Carolan's "Mr. Waller."
