Back to Dance with Ease


DANCE WITH EASE. English, Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning. AABB. The melody was printed in Charles and Samuel Thompson's third country dance collection (London, 173). It also appears in the music manuscript books of fiddlers John and William Pitt Turner (Norwich, Conn., 1788), and flute-playing Ensign Thomas Molyneaux, 6th Regiment (Shelburne, Nova Scotia, 1788).
