BONNY KITTY. AKA and see "The Turtle." English, Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody under this title is unique to London publisher Charles and Samuel Thompson's 1765 country dance collection. However, the Thompson's printed it again in their third volume of 1773 under the title "The Turtle."
