X:1 T:Get no Supper here Tonight N:From the playing of blacksmith and fiddler Sammie Walker (1910-1987, N:Nobob, Barren County, Ky.) recorded in the field by Bruce Greene, 1976. N:Nobob is small community (which at one time had a post office) that took its N:name from nearby Nobob Creek. Nobob Creek was named after an incident when N:the pioneer Robert Todd went missing near this stream. When inquiring whether N:he had been found, the answer was always "No Bob".
