FORTUNE HUNTERS, THE. English, Country Dance (2/4 time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. 1786. The Fortune Hunters; or, You May Say That, was a musical work written and composed by Charles Dibdin [1] (c. 1745-1814), performed at Sutlers Wells, July 17, 1786 (Groves gives a date of 1776 for the work).
