MISS AUSTIN. Scottish, Slow Strathspey. G Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by Archibald Allan of Forfar (1794-1831), described in J. Scott Skinner's Harp and Claymore (1904) collection as "one of the very best players and composers of his day." His most famous composition is "Dean Brig of Edinburgh (The)."
