LITTLE JACK'S REEL. Canadian, Reel. Canada; Cape Breton, Prince Edward Island. E Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The tune was recorded in the 1930's by Cape Breton fiddler Little Jack MacDonald (who later moved to Ontario). Perlman (1996) identifies the 'A' part as being the same as the Scottish strathspey "Mrs. Ramsay."
