LOCHABER GATHERING. Scottish, Cape Breton; March (2/4 time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDD. Composed by Pipe Major George S. McLennan (1883-1929), the melody is popular at piping competitions.

The Lochobar Gathering is a pipe competition that dates at least to 1816, the event was recorded in the annals of the Highland Society of London
