Irish, Slide (12/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune is associated with the village of Gleanntán, Sliabh Lucahra, County Kerry. See also the related "Flax in Bloom" family of tunes as well as the first part of the English tune "Lilly White." See also the 2nd part of "Marquis of Huntly's Highland Fling (1) (The)," nearly identical with the first part of the slide.
