MILTOWN MAID [1], THE (Aindear Baile-Na-Muilleann). AKA - "Mill-Town Maid." AKA and see "Cup of Tea (2) (The)," "Merry Harriers (1) (The)," "Merry Sisters (The)," "Mill Town Maid," "Three Merry Sisters." Irish, Reel. E Dorian. Standard tuning. AB (O'Neill/1850): AA'B (O'Neill/Krassen): AABB (Cole). This reel was first published in Ryan's Mammoth Collection (Boston, 1883) as "Mill Town Maid." The tune is the same as the first two parts of "Three Merry Sisters." "Merry Harriers (The)"/"Cup of Tea (2) (The)" are related tunes, albeit in a different key.
