MOUNTAIN PATHWAY, THE. Irish, Polka or Barn Dance. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Paired with "Return of Spring (The)" the tune was recorded (as a polka) by South Sligo fiddler James Morrison (1893-1947) in New York in early 1926.
