NORFOLK HORNPIPE [2]. AKA and see "Merrymaker's Club," "Omnibus (The)," "Stage (The)," "Stage Hornpipe (1)." English (0riginally), Irish; Hornpipe. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A different tune than "Norfolk Hornpipe (1)." A composition of Tyneside fiddler, publican and hornpipe composer James Hill. It was famously recorded by County Sligo fiddler Michael Coleman in 1927 as "The Stage."
