NYTH Y GWCW (The Cuckoo's Nest). Welsh, Country Dance Tune (4/4 time). D Dorian (Mellor): E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABB. Not strictly related to the usual English "Cuckoo's Nest" tunes, although are more than general similarities with Cuckoo's Nest (3) (The)." Mellor (1935) finds a similar variant in Bennett's Lays of My Land. The tune appears in the publication Cambrian Trifles (1812).
