OAK RIDGE STOMP. Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, Missouri. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Howard Marshall reveals that the title refers to the white oak woods in Linn County, Missouri. Irish laborers cut and fashioned railroad ties from trees in the woods in the later 19th century.
