Y.Z. SPECIAL. AKA and see "Wyzee Hamilton Special," "Hamilton's Special Breakdown," "Concord Rag," "G Rag." Old Time, Country Rag. USA, Alabama. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune is properly a country rag, not a breakdown. It was a signture piece of Alabama fiddler Y.Z. Hamilton [2] (1888 1936) and was recorded for Paramount in January, 1927.
