WALTZ THE HALL. Old-Time, Reel or Two-Step (4/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB. A square dance tune recorded in 1929 in Richmond, Indiana, by Kentucky fiddler Doc Roberts, with guitarist Asa Martin who also provided square dance calls. "Waltz the Hall" is a dance figure in which one takes one's partner and prominades around the outside of the set.
