PATSY GEARY'S. AKA and see “Kimmel's Jig (1),” “Micky Callaghan's Jig," "Yellow Rose (The).” Irish, Jig. The tune is that of the familiar American song “Yellow Rose of Texas,” set in 6/8 (or 12/8) time. Fiddler Patsy Geary was one of Dublin fiddler John Kelly's mentors.
