WEMYSS CASTLE. Scottish, Strathspey. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The melody appears in Robert Petrie's c. 1790 1st collection. Petrie (1767-1830) was a Perthshire violinist, teacher and composer who published four collections.
