PINT OF ALE, THE. AKA and see "Collier's Daughter (The)," "Mullingar Lea (The)," "Paddy Cronin's (2), Collier's Lass (The)," "Duke of Rutland's Delight (The)," "Nine Pint Coggie (1) (The)," "Streets of Mullingar (The)." Irish, Reel. G Major/Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune is descended from a country dance tune printed in London by John Walsh entitled "Collier's Daughter (The), AKA "Collier's Lass (The)" and "Duke of Rutland's Delight (The), which developed into the reel "Nine Point Coggie (1) (The)" AKA "Nine Pint Coggie" (although that title is also used for another tune).
