POSSUM HOLLOW. AKA - "Possum Hollow Breakdown." Old-Time, Country Rag. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A raggy, blues-tinged piece from the northwest Alabama group The Stripling Brothers. Lee Stripling, fiddler Charlie Stripling's son, also recorded the tune, but did not know anything about it, other than it was played by his father.
