CAN LOVE BE CONTROLLED BY ADVICE. AKA and see "Grim King of the Ghosts," "Colin's Complaint." English, Air (3/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The air appears in Tom D'Urfy's Pills to Purge Melancholy, vol. VI (1720). A version was entered by Waverton (near Wigton), Cumbria, multi-instumentalist John Rook in his large 1840 music manuscript collection.
