REEL DU RÉGIMENT. AKA and see "Mother's Reel" "Reel Caplin," "Reel de la mobilisation," "Reel de Sorel." French-Canadian, Reel. C Major ('A' and 'C' parts) & G Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'C. Fiddler Isidore Soucy recorded a version of the tune as "Reel de Sorel," while Don Messer and His Islanders released it as "Mother's Reel."
